The University of Michigan boasts many successful inter- and multidisciplinary centers integrating translational research, training, prevention outreach, public heath and patient care. Here a culture of interdisciplinary collaboration exists and flourishes in many areas. MICHR supports this culture of collaboration, integration, and team science by providing consultation and expertise on practical issues related to research, and by linking investigators with experts in other fields. The Research Development Core, Clinical Translation Science Program, the Health Disparities Research ad Pediatrics are good sources for this help.
