The primary purpose of the MCRU (formerly GCRC) is to provide the resources and infrastructure necessary to conduct participant oriented clinical research protocols at the University of Michigan.

MCRU Hours of Operation:
The University Hospital extended stay unit is open 24/7 one week per month inclusive of that one weekend. Three weeks per month we are open 16/5 (8 am-12 midnight ) Monday through Friday and closed for those three weekends.

Med Inn ,Dominos Farms, and the Ypsilanti Health center site operate Monday through Friday from 8am -4:30 pm.

Publishing Study Results: It is important that all publications resulting from studies conducted using the former GCRC resources credit the GCRC Grant #M01-RR000042. Studies using the MCRU must cite the CTSA grant# UL1RR024986. The NIH searches for publications by grant recognition, and our future resources will be tied to the number of publications referencing our grant number.
