Research Support Units

Investigators who come to MICHR benefit from a wealth of experienced clinical research staff.

MICHR staff and faculty seek to create a supportive service-oriented environment where investigators can obtain help with the nuts and bolts of conducting their research. Any investigator can request help with planning a study through any of these units for free.

MICHR houses the Michigan Clinical Research Unit (MCRU, formerly GCRC), which provides expert nursing and bionutrition services, as well as dedicated space for both inpatient and outpatient protocols.

Moreover, investigators can turn to MICHR to budget the services of experienced clinical research staff for multi-site project management, data management, data analysis, and regulatory compliance for their new or ongoing projects.
