Eligibility:

The program will be open to talented individuals who have completed a Ph.D. program in any of the basic sciences or related areas (biomedical, health, or social sciences) who aspire to develop a career in clinical translational research. Candidates must be a U.S Citizen or Permanent U.S. Resident.

The Program Committee will select 5-10 scholars to participate.

Q: There appears to be no limit on when one earned the Ph.D. so I assume that folks who have extensive experience, but are making mid-career moves would be eligible?
A: Yes, you would certainly be eligible. There is no limit on when one earned their PhD.

Q: Since I am at the fourth year of post-graduate and my title is Research Investigator now. Can I still apply for this program?
A: Yes, you are eligible for this program.

Q: I have an M.D. and a Ph.D. am I eligible for the program.
A: Most likely not. Please contact PTSP Administration for information.
