What is this service?
The Michigan Clinical Research Unit offers a Venipuncture Class to staff at the University involved in research wanting to learn the skill of drawing blood. This is a competency-based course utilizing simulation arms for initial hands on skill application.
The Venipuncture class is located in the Simulation Center in Towsley, between Mott and University Hospital.
You will be emailed a packet of information that you will need to print and bring to class. All supplies are provided.
Who can use this service?
The Venipuncture class is offered for any member of the study team. Previous blood-drawing experience is not necessary.

You should register early for your desired training session, as they tend to fill up quickly.
