What is this service?

This interactive workshop presents the basics of budgeting for research grants. The workshop will cover many aspects of budgeting including the calculation of indirect costs, determination of calendar months (CM) for effort, completion of other budget components, writing a budget justification, monitoring expenses after you are awarded, and the closeout process (FFR). This budgeting workshop is modeled using an NIH budget format. Recording of previous workshop is available here.

Who can use this service?

This workshop is intended for junior investigators applying for any of MICHR's awards or putting in a new proposal.
