Adam has a deep appreciation and respect for the knowledge and expertise that community partners bring to the research process. As a research liaison with MICHR’s community engagement program, Adam advocates for genuine, equitable community-academic partnerships that improve health through research and action. Prior to receiving his Master’s in Public Health from the University of Illinois at Chicago, he worked for the Michigan Medicine Program for Multicultural Health as a wellness specialist and served on the UM VOICES of the Staff diversity team. Adam is an Ann Arbor native who loves working with and learning from researchers and community partners in MICHR’s focal communities of Flint, Detroit, Ann Arbor, and Ypsilanti.
