Master of Science in Clinical Research Application Instructions

Applications for the Master of Science in Clinical Research are accepted online through the Rackham Graduate School.

The MS degree is granted by Rackham Graduate School through the Department of Epidemiology in the School of Public Health. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a professional or doctoral program in one of the following schools: Medical, Nursing, Pharmacy, Dentistry, or anyone in a health related degree program. Talk with your academic advisor to determine the best time to take a year out from your program to complete this degree. 

Your application must include:

  • Two letters of reference

  • A letter of support from your mentor

  • A letter of release from the Academic Dean of your current school or college

  • Official transcripts from all degree granting institutions you have attended

  • An Academic Statement of Purpose

  • A personal statement

  • A CV or resume

Completed applications will be reviewed by the MICHR Education Admissions Committee. The Department of Epidemiology at the School of Public Health will make the final decision on admission. Applicants will be notified as soon as we have those decisions.
