Do you help faculty with their grant proposal submissions? Would you like to expand your skills to help them polish the scientific portions of their proposals? If so, register for the workshop, Beyond the Admin Shell: Proposal Editing 101.
In this workshop, you will learn how to help researchers improve the scientific portions of their grant proposals using specific editing strategies. We will cover topics like clarity, organization, conciseness, consistency, formatting, grammar, punctuation, and spelling. At the end of the workshop, you will have a proposal editing checklist, an understanding of the editing strengths you already have, a resource sheet to guide you in filling editing gaps, and experience practicing the editing strategies on a Specific Aims page.
This workshop is free and open to anyone, but space is limited.
The workshop will take place on August 7, 2018 from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. in the BSRB seminar rooms, ABC.
