MICHR Program Prepares Individuals for Translational Research Careers – Apply Now

Applications are now being accepted for the 2020 Postdoctoral Translational Scholars Program (PTSP). This program is open campus-wide to individuals with PhD degrees, who are interested in additional training in translational sciences.

The PTSP is designed to prepare individuals for independent careers in translational research, and the award provides trainees with an $85,000 career development award to be used over two years. Applicants will work under the direction of a mentoring team that consists of a mentor from the PhD discipline as well as a clinical mentor. The application is loosely based on an NIH K23 grant format and includes a career development plan.

Applications are due September 10, at 5 p.m. More details are available here

The PTSP is offered by the Michigan Institute for Clinical & Health Research (MICHR).
