What is this service?
The MCRU Specimen Processing Lab performs basic processing and stabilization for specimens. We allow short term storage and we ship both domestic and international.
Before you start, you will need at least a draft protocol outlining your collections and their purpose.
Who can use this service?
Any investigator with a MCRU approved protocol may use this service.
When should I contact MICHR about this service?
As soon as you are interested in using our MCRU Lab services, please contact the laboratory supervisor to align costs and expectations.
How much does this service cost?
Laboratory Processing Only (includes laboratory processing and shipping for specimens brought to the MCRU laboratory; no clinical support, lab supplies, or space is included) costs $30 per hour.
Clinical Support Services + Laboratory (includes space, support of clinical personnel, supplies, and all laboratory support) costs $75 per hour.
