K Writing Workshop

What is this service?

The introductory three-part MICHR K Writing Workshop series will help participants get peer critique and feedback from senior faculty who are experienced in NIH study section thinking. Participants should be currently writing or preparing to write a K Award grant , as they will exchange drafts of their proposals during the sessions.

Who can use this service?

This workshop is for those who are preparing a career development grant application (NIH K or VA CDA) for submission.

When should I contact MICHR about this service?

Dates for the 2022 K Writing Workshop are January 26, February 15 and March 9, from 5:30–8 p.m. via Zoom. Register here.

How much does this service cost?

There is a fee of $150 for U-M registrants and $195 for others. (MICHR will provide a full refund to U-M registrants who attend all three sessions.) The cost pricing/recharge rates for other MICHR services are available here.
