Development, Implementation, and Maintenance of Standard Practice Guidelines

It is important to document the process by which Standard Practice Guidelines will be written, reviewed, approved, and retired in order to promote compliance with work processes and to effectively manage change. The purpose of this Standard Practice Guideline (SPG) is to establish a process for the preparation, review, implementation, and retirement of an SPG.

MICHR has created a core set of clinical trial Standard Practice Guideline (SPG) templates that provide standard, high-level guidance while requiring only minimal customization by research teams in order to accommodate department or individual study requirements.
