MICHR Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion

At the University of Michigan and MICHR, our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) is central to our mission as an educational institution. We seek to improve our understanding of effective practices and brainstorm how we can continue to move the DEI initiative forward, functioning as a learning community by sharing resources and ideas in a culture that emphasizes constructive dialogue. Trainings and educational opportunities are being held to create a campus and community where people’s differences contribute to further learning and advancements in all fields of study and patient care. We will view these topics through the lens of promoting diversity, equity and inclusion. U-M offers a growing curriculum of courses to assist schools, colleges, and units to create more inclusive and welcoming environments. MICHR also offers a unique set of trainings to help facilitate conversations around DEI. We invite any interested team members to join us.
