What is this service?
MICHR’s study developers work in partnership with your study team to design project databases with a focus on efficient collection, management and analysis of the research data.
In order to develop a database that is best suited to the needs of the study team, the study developer will become familiar with the research protocol and the data collection instruments (case report forms) that are provided. Using their technical expertise and applying best practices, the study developer often makes recommendations on data collection and database organization to improve efficiency and quality. Once the database design work is completed, the study developer continues to provide technical support to help manage and implement changes that impact the study database. The study developer is available to an answer questions about the data management system being used and can provide assistance with data reports and listings.
