What is this service?
This is a training required by Office of Human Research Compliance Review (OHRCR) for all U-M faculty who will hold an IND or IDE and are thus considered a sponsor-investigator. It provides information on the sponsor-investigator requirements of an IND or IDE and resources to assist in order to be in compliance. This may be provided individually, as part of an orientation session, or to a small group or team.
Study teams involved in research that use investigational agents are also welcome to attend this training.
Who can use this service?
This service may be used by U-M Investigators and their study teams who are (or will be) using investigational agents or who hold an IND/IDE.
When should I contact MICHR about this service?
The Office of Human Research Compliance Review will contact investigators once an IND or IDE is submitted.
U-M investigators who hold or will hold an IND or IDE are free to contact MICHR directly.
