The main objective of the Behavioral Research Innovation and Support Program (BRISP) is to develop, demonstrate, and disseminate a comprehensive program for advancing rigor and innovation in behavioral and social science research (BSSR).
The MICHR Dissemination & Implementation (D&I) Catalyst Implementation Science Network (ISN) connects researchers to promote more innovative dissemination and implementation research to ultimately close the gap between science and practice and improve care in our health systems and communities.

MICHR Research Jams are designed to assist groups of faculty, from a diverse range of disciplines, surface cutting-edge research ideas, build collaborations, create shared research agendas, and develop strategic action plans or grant proposals.
This workshop outlines the process of obtaining valid informed consent and will give you the opportunity to demonstrate necessary language and communication skills when interacting with potential study participants and their families. This session is not about writing the informed consent document.
Responsible Conduct of Research for K Awardees (RCR4K) is a seminar series designed to guide participants in identifying and managing ethics and integrity issues. It offers structured exploration of common research ethics and integrity dilemmas, and regulation.
The three-part MICHR K Writing Workshop series will help participants get peer critique and feedback from senior faculty who are experienced in NIH study section thinking.
MICHR and the Medical School Office of Faculty Development present a forum on mentoring once a year. The event features a presentation, followed by the annual MICHR Distinguished Clinical & Translational Research Mentor Award Ceremony.
This interactive workshop presents the basics of budgeting for research grants and is modeled using an NIH budget format.
This session will provide participants with an orientation to information, resources, and tools necessary to navigate the university's research enterprise as well as a basic understanding of what is needed to comply with regulations related to clinical research.
The Instruction in Monitoring, Procedures Documentation and ClinicalTrials.gov (IMPACT) workshop series is designed for study team members who are ready for an intermediate level of training for clinical trials skills.
The Research Basics workshop series presents basic, introductory-level material covering concepts in clinical or health research. This three-part series engages participants and provides opportunities for skill building and learning.
